Encounter the Region

 

The Limestone Coast offers an enormous range of diverse experiences. By travelling a short distance from Robe, many small and large townships can be accessed, as well as several wine regions and national parks. Here are a few suggestions if you are looking for a day trip out of Robe.

 

*Pick up a brochure from the Visitor Information Centre and visit some of the eateries and drinkeries on the Limestone Coast Food Trail

*Visit the World Heritage listed Caves in Naracoorte. Don't forget to play some mini putt-putt golf while in town

*Say hello to the Big Lobster in Kingston and catch an outstanding view from the top of the old Cape Jaffa Lighthouse

*Explore the Mount Benson Wine Region for some delightful local drops

*Take a drive through the Little Dip National Park to Beachport. Be sure to see the marvel of the Woakwine Cutting

*Spend some time soaking up the historic town of Penola. Visit an abundance of cellar doors in the Coonawarra Wine Region. Make sure you stop by the lolly shop on your way out!
